MoonClan & SunClan's territory rests in a fertile mountain valley. The summers are warm but mild, while the winters are harsh.SunClan's camp is located in the northern part of the territory, at the base of a tall hill. SunClan's territory includes part of the forest around the camp and the hill above, called Overlook Hill, which is a good place to survey the territory and watch over the camp. The camp itself rests part of the way up the hill, in a small clearing.
☀ The leader's den sits closest to the top of the hill. It is a small burrow dug beneath an outcropping of rock, the entrance of which is hidden by brambles. The leader gives announcements from the top of the rock, which is called the Callingstone. ☀
☀ The medicine den is located at the bottom of the hill, set slightly apart from the other dens to stop the spread of sickness when it occurs. It sits in a large patch of brambles, so that medicine cats and patients have plenty of room. ☀
☀ The warriors' den is a cave in a small cliffside near the base of the hill. A large yew tree grows above it, its roots obscuring the entrance to the den. The den itself is filled with alcoves and ledges where the warriors make their nests. ☀
☀ The apprentices' den is at the base of the yew tree's roots on the ledge above the warriors' den, in a holly bush that grows against the trunk of the tree. The tilted treetrunk is a good place for apprentices to practice climbing. ☀
☀ The nursery is in a burrow dug beneath the roots of a gnarled fir tree. Many roots grow from the roof to the floor of the den, and queens make their nests in the alcoves they provide. ☀
☀ The elders' den is a natural cave under a small pile of boulders. The cracks have been packed with soil to help insulate the den, and the rocks are warmed by the sun and help keep the interior warm as well. ☀
